Westlandyn Farms: A Legacy of Excellence

Welcome to Westlandyn Farms, where tradition and innovation meet to bring you the freshest, high-quality eggs. Located just 12 kilometers outside Stratford in Perth County, Ontario, our farm is the heart of a proud, multi-generational family business.

Founded by Gary and Brenda West, who represent the fourth generation of the West family in farming, Westlandyn Farms has transitioned from dairy farming to egg production since 2003. Their son Adam, his wife Danielle, and their children Dylan and Sophie are integral parts of the family-operated farm, contributing to the care of over 35,000 hens that produce premium white Omega Plus eggs.

Our state-of-the-art facilities feature in-floor heating in the barns to ensure the hens' comfort and energy efficiency. Additionally, we rent out our land for cropping and are excited about our plans to build a new layer barn.

The West family is deeply committed to community involvement. Gary and Brenda actively support local food banks, donate eggs for Christmas baskets, and participate in community organizations, including the Shakespeare Optimist Club and the Stratford Agricultural Society. Gary also serves as a regional representative on the Egg Farmers of Ontario board, while Brenda contributes as a board member for Tavistock Community Health.

Beyond farming, the family enjoys fishing, traveling, and spending time with their grandkids. They are passionate about promoting accurate information about egg farming and engaging with the public at agricultural fairs. At Westlandyn Farms, we are dedicated to sharing our love for egg farming and ensuring that our consumers receive the best.
